Abby finds inspiration in daily practice and discovering the intelligence of Pilates in everyday movement patterns. Abby is a classically certified Pilates instructor who discovered Pilates over ten years ago, after three children and many years of yoga. She used the work to heal herself from nagging back pain, overstretched joints, and post-natal core weakness. Abby believes in Pilates as an intelligent system for self discovery -- a program for staying healthy and moving gracefully as we age. She has studied yoga and meditation for twenty years and integrates breath and release work with the Pilates she teaches. Currently Abby is training in Craniosacral Therapy, Yamuna Body Rolling and Scaravelli Yoga as her journey continues to follow a path towards balancing strength with ease of movement. She is motivated to listen and create joy with each new client, believing that we all start exactly where we are -- with best intentions and a beginner’s mind. Abby specializes in taking on private clients and encouraging them to personalize the work to reach their own goals. She truly believes that every day we are different and every day we have a new opportunity to listen to our bodies.
Throughout her six years of working in customer service and leadership roles, Chriza have acquired a passion for helping people. Providing clients with a great experience in every encounter has become her primary goal and it's still something that she looks forward to everyday. She loves meeting new people along the way especially when it comes to fitness. Graduating from California State University Northridge with her Bachelor's of Science degree in Public Health, she hopes to apply and share her knowledge about health and wellness. She is excited to meet everyone and looking forward in helping you in your Pilates journey here at Club Pilates!

Jordan started doing Pilates right after graduating college to combat the postural and mental stress of sitting at a desk all the time. She fell in love with Pilates over the years, ultimately deciding that she wanted to teach Pilates. Jordan completed her training at Pilates Sports Center in Encino, CA. She believes that Pilates is for everyone!
Rebecca first discovered Pilates in 2005 and has been hooked ever since! She first tried Pilates as part of her dance practice in college (it was mandatory before each and every dance class!) Pilates quickly became an integral part of Rebecca's active lifestyle and developed into a lifelong passion. Her passion for Pilates inspired her to not only to become an certified instructor, but also to quit her job in nonprofit fundraising and development in order to bring Club Pilates to Glendale. One of the things she loves most about being a studio owner is its extraordinary community and the ability to help people find wellness through Pilates.
AJ discovered Pilates in 2010, Since then, she has expanded her Pilates knowledge via self practice and by becoming a Pilates Rehabilitation Instructor through Polestar Pilates in 2014. AJ has used Pilates to not only maintain her own health, but also to help people heal from injuries. AJ’s personal mission is to compassionately improve the lives she touches. With this in mind her teaching philosophy is simple – “there’s always room for improvement”. Should she have the honor of being your Pilates Instructor, take comfort in knowing you will always be working towards improvement, whether it is decreasing pain, increasing strength, preventing injury, having a rock solid core, being able to handle uneven terrain of hiking, being able to walk along the cobble stone streets of Europe, improving your 5k, 10k race times, ... – it’s all about making you better; helping you achieve your performance goals. Kirstie has been training in Pilates for over 7 years. She grew up as a dancer in Chicago. She developed a love for health and wellness as a mover, after reoccurring injuries and instabilities she’s encountered through dance. Before her certification, she was teaching Pilates to her peers in her dance company, for strength and conditioning. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional career in commercial dance and choreography. Her passion and necessity for Pilates has grown, and decided to make it a part of her career. Her mission is to share her light and passion with the world about what Pilates is, and what it can do for every body, every where, at every age and she will not stop learning and growing to better help herself and her students.
I discovered Pilates when i started working at Athleta back in 2015. I went to an intro class and fell in love with it so i decided to join. I've been doing Pilates for about 4 years now. I love everything that has to do with fun, healthy workouts. I'm so happy to be working at the front desk now, and be able to help every single one of you and give you the best customer service :)
Lenise is a student, aerialist, and a dancer. She is a native of Dallas, Tx. She truly has a passion for helping people, and the mechanics of the human body. She is also a certified group exercise instructor, and a personal trainer. Here some interesting facts about Lenise: -She never wears matching Socks unless they're grip Sox for class -She has 3 sisters and they are each 9 years apart -She moved to LA with only 3 suitcases and intended to stay only for 1 year...it’s been 5 years since then.
Sacha came to Club Pilates Glendale as a client 3 yrs ago to rehabilitate from injury. Within a short period of time,she not only regained strength and mobility but developed a deep love and respect for the practice of Pilates. Sacha has a background in yoga teaching and meditation guidance, massage therapy, and various physical arts ...adding Pilates to her repertoire of knowledge is a perfect fit. Sacha is ready and excited to share her passion for Pilates and teaching. Facilitating growth and achievement of clients goals is an absolute joy for Sacha, and she looks forward to seeing you in class soon! When not teaching Pilates you can find Sacha blowing glass and hanging out with her #1 bff Squiggy the dog.
Brianna's first time taking a Pilates class was in highschool as a way to strengthen her core and improve overall strength for softball. Since then, she has regularaly taken matt Pilates classes becauses she experienced the benifits Pilatea has to offer. Brianna is currently a nusing major and is interested in learning more about the human body. She sees Pilates as an opportunity to be more in tune with her body and learn. Brianna is excited to start her journey her at club Pilates and encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle!
Pilates has always been on Heather's "I want to try that!" list. When she finally took an intro class at Club Pilates in the fall of 2018. She immediately felt the difference in her muscles and have been a client since then. She loves that pilates is a low impact, full body workout. She doesn't have to worry about injuries or intense impact to her joints. It's helped ease the symptoms of her neuropathy and allowed her body to heal faster from illness and Lupus flare ups. She enjoyed the classes, the staff, instructors, and environment so much that she joined the team! Heather hopes to give you all the same feeling the studio has given her.

Rian Borland is an award-winning dancer currently helping clients find new strength and flexibility through Pilates. Utilizing the benefits of the Pilates method alongside her dance training, Rian had a successful career in dance with Kansas City Ballet, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, and Oregon Ballet Theatre. With 10-years of both classical and contemporary Pilates training, Rian continued her education with a 500-hour comprehensive certification program through Club Pilates. With a strong belief in the Pilates method, Rian hopes to help clients lead happier and healthier lives.
Michael Scott has over 10 years of experience in the field of wellness and fitness. He was a powerlifter at LSU when he discovered performance theatre and began his study of human movement through physical theatre, dance, and aerial silks. After graduation, he moved to New Orleans to teach calisthenics and meditation to members of the local community. He also worked closely with aerial silks students as an instructor where he led classes and orchestrated performance showcases. He has since received certification in personal training through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and spent two years launching multiple fitness studios as the Regional Fitness Director of a leading global HIIT training program. Most recently, he completed his 500 hour comprehensive Pilates training through Club Pilates. You can now find him at Club Pilates where he feels he has found the perfect place to marry his passion for fitness with his love of teaching people how to deepen their body awareness to reach their goals.
